First week after the October break
Our new term started with an assembly with Ms. Latha on Monday morning. Post which we had a reflection circle outdoors. Students were all excited to share their holiday experiences and the different places they visited during the October break. Some of them also had bitter experiences of being sick as it was a time where a lot of people were affected with viral infections. It is all part of our lives. Anushka took an initiative of bringing an artifact related to one of the books we read earlier called 'How My Parents Learned to Eat'. She brought chopsticks and on asking she came up with two learning engagements for her friends. It was then connected with two genres of writing that grade 3 students have been learning- report and descriptive writing. Students were given a choice to pick one and write.
