Another Exciting Week
This week we started with tuning into our unit with the help of a few artefacts during ‘Circle Time’. Students came up with some insightful sharing about their understanding after observing the artefacts. They made some prominent connections with their own lives and were able to express it confidently. This was done in order to understand how living things and non-living things are dependent on each other. Students also unpacked the central idea of the unit with the help of jumbled words and formed a statement using them. They also identified the transdisciplinary theme our unit falls under which is ‘Sharing the Planet’. In Maths, students played different games outdoors called and learnt the concept of the place value of numbers.
